Your Tenancy

Nehemiah Housing Association provide homes that are comfortable, safe and affordable. All set within a nurturing and creative community – for your peace of mind and wellbeing.

When you rent one of our homes, you become so much more than simply another tenant. You become a member of our community, part of a supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities As A Tenant

Your responsibilities as a tenant and our responsibilities to you as landlord are all detailed in your tenancy agreement.

It is worth taking the time to read your tenancy agreement, to ensure you understand all the terms and can make the most of living in your home.

Your Tenancy Agreement

Your tenancy agreement includes information on every aspect of living in your home.

As a guide, your tenancy agreement includes:

  • Paying your rent and other charges on time
  • Behaving in a social way that doesn’t cause upset to your neighbours
  • Taking care of your home
  • Allowing access to your home for safety checks and repairs
  • Playing your part in keeping communal areas tidy

If you are ever unsure of what you can expect from us as your landlord or what we expect from you as our tenant, or you have a question to ask, you can contact us by emailing contact@nehemiah.co.uk or by calling us on 0121 358 0966.
