Direct Debit is our prefered method of payment. Paying by direct debit means your rent is paid straight out of your bank or building society account. Most banks or building societies will do this free of charge as long as there is enough money in your account to cover the payment. You may be charged if there is not enough funds to cover the amount due to be collected. A Direct Debit is simple to set up, and can be done over the phone with your Housing Officer. We will always tell you about changes to your rent. You can cancel the direct debit at any time, but you will have to make other arrangements to pay your rent.
The card itself has no value and cannot be used to make payments to any other organisation or to obtain details of your account. The card should be used to make any rent payments you make to us as it automatically identifies your account with us. This card makes it easier to pay your rent online, by telephone, by text or using your rent payment card at a wide range of local retail outlets displaying a pay point sign. With your Nehemiah Allpay rent card you can also pay your rent:
Go to the Allpay website www.allpay.net and follow the onscreen instructions, to pay by debit card. You will need your Nehemiah Allpay card reference number.
Call 0844 557 8321 and follow the simple instructions to pay your rent by debit card. You will need your Allpay card reference number. Calls will last approximately 2 minutes, are charged at local rate and will cost approximately 10p. You can also make a payment by calling you Housing Officer on 0121 358 0966.
You can also use the Allpay App to pay your rent. The Allpay App is available free of charge and enables you to pay bills easily, wherever you are, at the touch of a button. Customers using Allpay Cashless can also top up their accounts using the App. The Allpay App is a great opportunity for you, our customers to move to a more speedy and convenient method of paying your rent. Once you have logged into your account via the App, you can store all your payment reference numbers, bank card details and payment amounts so you don’t have to enter them every time. Plus you can create a 4 digit pin number to access the App so you don’t need to go through a lengthy login process every time to use it. All of this is in the secure environment you would expect from Allpay.

Standing Order is another way in which tenants can pay their rent. You can ask your bank or building society to make weekly or monthly rent payments from your account direct to us. Contact your Housing Officer who will let you know the regular amount of rent you will need to pay. You must tell your bank or building society every time there is a change in the rent you have to pay. You can contact your Housing Officer to request a standing order form.
You can send a cheque to: Nehemiah United Churches Housing Association, 1-3 Beacon Court, Birmingham Road, Great Barr, Birmingham, B43 6NN Please write your name, address and tenant number on the back. Cheques should be made payable to Nehemiah UCHA Ltd.
At our head office in Great Barr, you can also pay by cash or cheque. If you are unable to make your rent payments you must contact your housing officer immediately.
